Lil is finally in a happy place where she can take it all in with a deep breath and take comfort in what her life has become. Getting to this realisation has been a journey for Lil because she was caught up in the hustle and bustle of a previous life.

Just like Shirley the greyhound who lives next door, Lil was pushed too far and unfortunately sustained an injury that forced her to slow down, recover and rethink. Lil was lucky enough to spend her rehabilitation with a loving family who knew what was best for her. Cuddles, good food, and lots of time to recover. Lil decided that this is what life is all about. She even had Shirley next door to pass the time when her family wasn’t around. It was so nice to just ‘be’.

Lil’s family is an active one, so now that she is healed she is absolutely loving the family camping trips, long weekend hikes and meeting new doggy friends at the park. She has never been happier.
