Shirley is a great example of personal growth. In a previous life she faced daily pressure to succeed and perform which didn’t do any favours for her health. She finds it difficult to reflect on those times but she often glistens with gratitude when she thinks about how far she has come.

She is finally surrounded with so much love. It’s just amazing how someone can transform into everything they wanted when they find the right spot and the right people. You’ll find Shirley nestled into the sofa surrounded by a warm and loving family in suburbia where she can live her best life and observe the daily chaos that is family life. This is it…this is what she dreamed about.

Her favourite moments are when her family cosy in for a cuddle and share the events of that day with a hot chocolate and special treat for Shirley. When the house is empty and everyone is out fulfilling their own dreams, Shirley loves to go out into the backyard and relax with her neighbour Lily. Their families were kind enough to make a gate in the side fence so that they could keep each other company. Lily is also a greyhound and they share many things in common, especially their past and their gratitude for the present. Life is good.
